Thank you to Gary and Heather for having the ambition to create a relaxing and luxurious campsite you exceeded expectations. The warm welcome and attention to detail made this a week to remember. The whole area was a joy to explore and as there is so much more to see I am happy in the knowledge that there is this little gem of a campsite to return to.

We had a great week here at the end of June. A friendly welcome from Heather & Gary. Great to have some peace & quiet with no children. Lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds. Shower facilities are the best we have seen in 25 years of touring Europe.

Arriving at the site for our 11 night stay in the static, our first impression was of peace and tranquility. Gary and Heather were very welcoming and our delight continued as we were shown round the accommodation. Much has been done to upgrade the static - new bedroom (large, very comfy bed), new large shower room and a completely new kitchen with appliances including a dishwasher. The air con unit in the lounge area is very effective and is easily controllable so we were very comfortable in all weathers. The pool is heated which makes it easy to use even on not so hot days. A fridge/freezer in the pool house offers drinks and ice cream lollies for €1.00 - honesty box provided. With a chosen limit of 5 touring vans and 3 tents, the site never feels busy. The toilet block is first class with all modern fixtures and fittings kept spotlessly clean. Something we really appreciated was the morning bread/croissant delivery. Having been ordered the night before, they were on the doorstep in time for breakfast. Amazing service! In addition, there is a large supermarket a short drive away supplying all we needed. There is much to see in the surrounding area. Bergerac is beautiful and the little Bastide towns are well worth a visit. We saw many amazing sunsets from the campsite itself. Gary and Heather go out their way to make sure their guests have a good holiday: • Information about local events is posted daily on the notice board • Paella nights provide a chance to mix with others if you want to • Cycle hire can be organised • Travel to local night markets can be arranged There is still so much we want to do and see that a return trip is already on our to do list. Definitely a place to return to.

We booked for three night but stayed for five, really enjoyed the tranquillity and beautiful surroundings. Heather and Gary are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. So good to have showers that don't turn off after 20 seconds.
